Carey Woods hit two field goals late in the game to seal Bemidij's 61-58 win over Detroit Lakes to close out the regular season in boys basketball on Friday night at Detroit Lakes.
Woods led the Lumberjacks with 24 points.
"It was a great game," Bemidji Head Coach Jeff Brown said. "We had a good team effort."
Cody Rutledge scored 18 points for Bemidji while Mitch Brown dished out six assists.
The Lumberjacks built a 14-point lead in the second half before Detroit Lakes rallied.

The Lakers' Rick Hutchinson caught fire, sinking six 3-pointers and brining Detroit Lakes within one point of Bemidji in the final minute of the game.
