BRAINERD -- The Bemidji High School wrestling team had a solid day on the mat Friday, advancing 10 wrestlers to today’s semifinals at the 14-team Paul Bunyan Wrestling Tournament in Brainerd.
Advancing to the semis are Seth Newby (113), Bryce Golden (120), Jon Solum (145), Nate Golden (145), Alan Wuori (152), Chance Hinrichs (160), Nic Geiger (182), Peter Moen (195), Hunter Schoenborn (220) and Kaleb Beam (heavyweight).
The wrestling action resumes at 10:30 a.m. today.
