Aerial gymnasts win invitational at Buffalo

The Bemidji Aerials Level 8 gymnasts won the 1st place trophy at the Sweetheart Invitational in Buffalo last weekend. Alyssa Allen led the Aerials hitting 8.4 for 2nd place on the vault, 7.8 for 3rd on the uneven parallel bars, 7.9 on the balance beam, 9.025 for 3rd place on the floor exercise, and 33.125 for 2nd place in the all around.

Haley Gregg hit 7.75 on the vault, 7.975 for 2nd on the bars, 8.5 for 2nd on the beam, 8.675 on the floor, and 32.9 for 3rd in the all around.

Hannah Gregg received 8.0 on the vault, 7.575 on the bars, 8.075 for 3rd on the beam, 8.7 on the floor, and 32.35 in the all around.

Kayla Hennum earned 7.95 on the vault, 6.7 on the bars, 7.975 on the beam, and 7.6 on the floor for a total of 30.225 in the all around.

The Aerials Level 7 team finished in 3rd place and were led by Emily Howard who scored 8.65 (5) on the vault, 8.9 (3) on the bars, 9.0 (5) on the beam, 9.0 (5) on the floor, and finished in 4th place in the all around at 35.85.

Emma Schmidt hit 8.0 on the vault, 8.95 (2) on the bars, 8.7 on the beam, 8.775 on the floor, and 34.425 (6) in the all around.

Tatiana Smrekar earned 8.5 on the vault, 7.7 on the bars, 8.2 on the beam, 7.75 on the floor, and 32.15 in the all around.
