RED LAKE - The Red Lake High School volleyball team, picked up its first win of the season in dominating fashion against Indus on Tuesday.

The Warriors (1-2) struggled in their first two matches but finally found the win column Tuesday, as they swept Indus 25-10, 25-10, 25-4.

The Warriors are off until 7 p.m. Monday when they travel to Norman County West.

Flyers fall to Mahnomen

BAGLEY - Bagley volleyball fell to 0-5 to start the season Tuesday when Mahnomen visited the Flyers and won 3-0.

The Indians (2-7) beat the Flyers 25-11, 25-20, 25-15.

Bagley was led by Camille Merschman who had a team-high six kills, two blocks and an ace.

Liz Anderson added four kills and an ace while Cassie Keough added a kill and Bayli Dukek added a block.

The Flyers are back in action at 7:30 p.m. Thursday when they travel to Climax/Fisher.

Goodridge sweeps C-G

GOODRIDGE - The Clearbrook-Gonvick volleyball team was swept by Goodridge/Grygla, 25-10, 25-8, 25-14 on Tuesday.

With the loss, the Bears dropped to 3-2 on the season. They will host Red Lake Falls Thursday night at 7 p.m.
