The Sunday, March 17, letter of Fulton Gallagher contains incorrect information about the size of the Minnesota surplus.
The surplus is $500 million and not $500 billion as Mr. Gallagher incorrectly states. My understanding is that Gov. Walz continues to work diligently to do his best to propose legislation that benefits all Minnesotans to the greatest extent possible.
