I have had the opportunity to meet Buck Jourdain several times. If I were a member of the Red Lake Nation I would vote for him. He was a gentleman every time and talked with me like I was an associate of his. To say the least I was impressed with his strength as a leader.

I cannot say too much about American Indian politics because I'm an outsider. I have spoken with several state and local government officials and Buck had the same presence of leadership. Another thing I learned from talking with government personal is that they are bound by so many state and federal agencies it's hard to make heads or tails of.

But that is not the reason for this letter. The reason I am writing this is because I'd like to see Buck win. I hope I am not intrusive; it's just that I kind of wish more people in the state were like Buck Jourdain. Hopefully all government personnel could take a lesson from him. Note: I do not work for his campaign. And good luck.
