Sheila Rodewald

Sheila Marie (Nyland) Rodewald, 63, of Bemidji, MN died Friday, April 30, 2021 at Sanford Bemidji Medical Center.

A celebration of life will be held from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, Saturday, May 8, 2021 at the Eagles Club in Bemidji.

She was born March 29, 1958 in Bemidji, MN, the daughter of Iland and Viola (Westrum) Nyland. She was raised and educated in Bemidji. She enjoyed helping people, reading, doing research and laughing. She loved her family and animals. She had a very generous spirit and was very knowledgeable. She and Tim Rodewald were happily together for 22 years.

She is survived by her husband, Tim Rodewald, siblings, Shirley Amundson, Steven (Annette) Nyland, Linda (Arnold) Sundvall, Dennis (Marilyn) Nyland, and Phillip (Gerri) Nyland, children, Jason Ortman and Jessica Ortman, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Darrel.
