Sheery Denault

Sheery Lea Denault (Corathers) age 66, of Bemidji MN passed away Wednesday March 3, 2021.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 8, 2021 at First Baptist Church, Bemidji. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

She was born August 13, 1954 in Buckhannon, West Virginia to Darrell and Mary Corathers. She graduated from High School in Buffalo, New York where she also met and married James Denault Jr on September 30, 1972. They were married for almost 36 years and had 3 children together. In 1982 they moved their family to Central Minnesota and later to Northern Minnesota. Sheery received her LPN license and worked primarily in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. She recently retired as Nurse manager from Cedar Cottage in Bemidji, MN.

Besides spending time with her family and dear friend Jody, Sheery enjoyed deer hunting in the Fall, watching movies and most importantly spending time with her grandchildren.

Sheery is survived by her 3 children, Chandra Denault of Silver Lake, MN, James Denault III of Hutchinson, MN, and Tia (Marshall) Graham of Bemidji, MN. 9 Grandchildren, Micheal, Cheyenne, Kashlee, Kaymee, Kadin, Kailyn, Eva, Gretta, and James and 4 Great-Grandchildren, Salem, Harper, Travis, and Eveline. Her Father Darrell Corathers, a brother Darrell (Denise) Corathers and a sister Jeanne (Greg) Edwards.

She was preceded in death by her husband James Denault Jr., her mother Mary Corathers and her brother Scott Corathers.
