Roger Tell

Roger was born in Bemidji, Minnesota in 1934 to Hilden and Ella Tell. He spent his childhood running the streets of Nymore, hunting and fishing with his ne’er do well Esterby uncles, (on his mothers’ side). This Tom Sawyer existence ended when he joined the Air Force. He served four years, flying around the world in a B36 Peacemaker. After returning home, he went to college on the GI bill and there he met the love of his life, Linda Sexton. They married in 1958 and spent 61 happy, hand holding years together.

Roger enjoyed working for MNDOT, except for those darn engineers. He retired young and spent his time at his lake home with all his varied interests; old cars, woodworking, antiques, and various collections of cool stuff he loved to show visitors. He was an excellent amateur photographer and loved a good sunset picture.......so....many....sunsets.

He had a few dislikes also, with the main one being funerals. We won’t be putting him through that. Condolences can be sent to Tell Family, 1311 Rodeo Drive NW, Bemidji, MN 56601.

He will be missed terribly, by his wife Linda, Daughters, Laurie Anderson (Teske), Terri Buscher, Son in Law, Grant Teske, Grandchildren, Dylan Anderson and wife Shannon, Katherina Anderson, Alex Buscher, Great granchildren, Cody Anderson, Arlo Buscher and brother Bob Tell.
