Roger Bucher

Roger Guy Bucher, 70 of Tenstrike, MN, died Sunday, September 13, 2020 at Twin Valley Assisted Living Center in Twin Valley, MN.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, September 17, 2020 at Frohn Eastside Cemetery in rural Bemidji, MN under the direction of the Cease Family Funeral Home of Bemidji.

Roger was born July 8, 1950 in Tenstrike, MN, the son of Guy and Hazel (Collar) Bucher. He grew up in Tenstrike, MN. He enjoyed hunting and carpentry work. He was a handyman most of his life. He married Barbara J. Smodell-Krueth December 24, 1992 in Bemidji. He loved his dogs and he also was proud of his faith and enjoyed his daily devotions with his wife when she was alive.

Roger is survived by his siblings, Murlie Bucher Swan of Kelliher, Joyce Bucher of Bemidji, Alvina Bucher Mitberg of Little Falls, Norman Bucher of California, Dolly Denny Shastid of Cass Lake, Clifford Bucher of Bemidji, and Ella Bucher McGrea of Blackduck; sister-in-law, Linda Barbour, and many nieces and nephews. Roger is preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
