Roberta “Bobbie” Ann (Rice) Gustafson

83, of Marysville, WA, passed away on December 16, 2019. Roberta was born to Kenneth and Ruth (Lamoreaux) Rice on December 7, 1936 in Bemidji. Bobbie attended St. Phillip’s School graduating in 1950, and Bemidji High School, graduating in 1954. After high school, Bobbie worked at Lindy’s Drive-in and F.W. Woolworth in Bemidji. After her marriage to Donald O. Gustafson, they moved to the Seattle area where she worked for Safeway Corporation of Seattle, WA, and later as a live-in housekeeper/nanny for several families in the Seattle area. Bobbie is survived by her three children, Lynn (Randy) Schaal, Robert (Paula) Gustafson, and James (Lori) Gustafson, eight grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren, all residing in the Pacific Northwest. She is survived by three sister, Joan Pleger, Denver, CO, Leora (Tiny) Heibel, Plymouth, MN, and Judy (Merlyn) Stai, Bemidji, MN. Graveside services will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, Bemidji at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 16, 2020. Services will be performed by Deacon Kermit Erickson.
