Randy Tanem

Randy Laverne Tanem, 64, of Pinewood, MN died Saturday, June 26, 2021 at his home.

A celebration of life will be held from 3 – 5 pm on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at the Buzzle Town Hall (The old Legion hall) in Pinewood. Interment will be at the Pinewood-Dodge Cemetery in Pinewood. The Cease Family Funeral Home in Bemidji assisted the family.

Randy was born August 14, 1956 in Bagley, MN, the son of Tony and Blanche (Winger) Tanem. He married Bonnie Yoemans on September 4, 1982. They lived happily in Pinewood, where he spent his time raising their children, tinkering on projects, enjoying nature, fishing and coffee on the deck with family and friends. He worked, lived and loved hard. His family and his friends meant the world to him. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife Bonnie Tanem,  Children Richard (Rochelle) Quick,  Kimberly (Jake) Quick Henning,  John (Heidi) Tanem,  Nathanael Tanem,  Chante Tanem,  14 grandchildren,  Siblings Maxine (Stanley) Tanem Stai,  Wallace Tanem,  Jean Tanem Jensen,  Sherry (Steve) Tanem Wynkoop,  and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Carole Tanem Wynkoop, and brother Kim Tanem.  Condolences may be left at ceasefuneralhome.com.
