Pauline “Polly” P. Hanson

Pauline “Polly” Pearl Hanson, 89, of Blackduck died on Monday, December 7, 2020 at the Sanford Bemidji Medical Center.

Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Fairview Cemetery in Kelliher, MN

Polly was born on April 18, 1931 to Iver and Hilke (Naber) Hanson near Litchfield, MN. She married Charis Hanson on August 27, 1950 and they moved to the Kelliher area. She was always there for her family. She enjoyed playing cards, dice, mowing lawn, baking, and sewing. She had a garden and did day care for many years. She always had a way of making others feel good and will be dearly missed.

Polly is survived by daughters, Linda Zeller, Mary (Ed) Nelson, Nancy (Dennis) Poxleitner; sons David (Janice) Hanson, Carl (Suzie) Hanson, Dean (Rhonda) Hanson, and Gerit (Toni) Hanson; 23 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charis; parents Iver and Hilke; brothers Leonard, Gerit, and Howard; sisters Isabelle, Joy, Irene, and Rose; and granddaughter Kayla.
