Terrance “Terry” Paul Koisti, 75, of Kelliher, Minnesota passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2020 at Good Samaritan Center in Blackduck, Minnesota.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at the Old School Center in Kelliher, Minnesota. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Kelliher, Minnesota, at a later date.
Terry was born on April 7, 1944 in Blackduck, Minnesota, the son of Benjamin and Alzada (Olson) Koisti. He attended Kelliher Public Schools and graduated in 1963. Terry was self-employed. He owned his own truck and hauled pulpwood and farmed cattle for many years. Later he drove truck for Frenzel Logging. He actually never did quit working, he just slowed down. He especially enjoyed his morning coffee with his friends and they were at the cafe every morning when it opened. He also enjoyed hunting, working in his shop, watching the History Channel, listening to old country music, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his mother, Alzada Koisti of Kelliher, MN; son, Terrance J “TJ” (Shelly) Koisti of West Fargo, ND; daughter,Tessa J. Koisti of Kelliher, MN; 2 grandsons, Brayden Koisti and Cole Koisti; granddaughter, Kenna Latterell; brother, Robert (Mary) Koisti of Kelliher, MN; and sister, Karen (Donald) Ufford of Bemidji, MN.
He was preceded in death by his father, Benjamin Koisti.
