Born August 10, 1978 Died April 18, 2020 Matthew Phillip Orton, age 41, father of one, passed away on April 18, 2020 at the Sanford Hospital in Fargo, ND. He was born August 10, 1978, to Phillip and Linda (Osmond) Orton in Morris, Illinois. Matthew was a recent resident of Bemidji, MN for the last three years. He lived most of his life in Lisbon, IL. He graduated from Newark High School in 1996. He worked for the majority as a cardboard corrugators operator at the Smurfit Stone Co. and the International Paper Co. He was preceded in death by his Grandparents; David and Ann (Johnston) Osmond and Verna (Egeland) Orton, an Uncle; Gary Williamson. He is survived by one son; Kaius Orton, born to Sarah Musgraves, Parents; Phillip and Linda (Osmond) Orton of Bemidji, MN. One Grandparent; Eugene Orton of Lisbon, IL. Aunts; Patricia (Gary) Williamson, Amy (Joseph) Southam, and Kim (Michael) Hopkins. Uncles; Paul (Cathy) Orton, Stanley (Theresa) Osmond, Brian (Linda) Osmond. Also numerous cousins, Nieces and nephews. Burial will be at a later date.
