Marianne Moos Prock

Marianne Moos Prock, 81 of Orange City, Florida, formerly of Bemidji, MN, passed away on May 14th, 2020, surrounded by her children, at her son Michael’s home. She was born on August 2nd, 1938.

She was married to Kenneth Fairchild from 1956 to 1977. She worked as a school cook at Sandy’s Restaurant in the mall, Colonial Kitchen, and Horace May Elementary until she retired and moved to Florida. She loved to play golf, bowl, play cards. Marianne loved to be with her children and enjoyed doing daycare while they grew up.

She was married to Lloyd Prock, on December 17th, 1985 in Winter Springs, Florida. Marianne and Lloyd were very active in her home church of Grace Baptist Church in Deltona, Florida. At Grace Baptist she really enjoyed spreading the gospel to those in the area. Marianne and Lloyd loved to travel and visit all their kids. Marianne and Lloyd were avid fisherman and enjoyed it when they could on their travels. They enjoyed playing domino’s, spinners and other board games with their friends. She loved their kids and enjoyed every moment she could spend with her grandkids, great grandkids and great-great grandkids.

She is survived by: Her brothers Francis(Lucy) Moos, James(Phyllis) Moos and sister Victoria(George) Bittman. Children: Michael (Linda) Fairchild of Otsego, Mary Fairchild/Peterson/ Cole/Noreen of Bemidji, and Mark (Julie) of Bemidji, Doug (Deb) Prock of Deltona, Florida, Cassaundra (Randy) Krehbeil of Westminster, Colorado, and Brenda Kamstra of Attica, Kansas. 18 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Mathias and Barbara Moos, Spouse: Lloyd Prock, and siblings: Eleanor(Howard) Gensler, Evelyn(Andy) Walseth, Joseph(Barbara) Moos, Elizabeth(Jake) Zimmerman, Lorna(Laurence) Eischens, Margaret(Virgil) Massie, and Kathleen(Karl) Edelman.

Her celebration of life will be held later this summer in Florida at Grace Baptist Church in Deltona, Florida, with interment at Florida National Cemetery with Lloyd.
