Delores “Toddy” Kobe

Delores “Toddy” Kobe, 87, of Bemidji, MN died Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at Neilson Place, Bemidji.
Memorial Services will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, September 28, 2020 at Olson-Schwartz Funeral Home, Bemidji. Family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Inurnment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Bemidji. Due to the COVID 19 precautions, masks are required.
Delores Audrey Geror was born August 2, 1933 in Eckles Township to Joseph and Effie (North) Geror. She graduated from 8th grade at Ergen then completed the 11th grade at Bemidji High School. Toddy married James Kobe on November 6, 1965 at St. Philips Catholic Church, Bemidji. She worked at Snyder’s while attending Bemidji High School. Toddy worked at the Elks Lodge, then Tarutis’ followed by Highway Host, Burger House and North Country Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. At all of her jobs, she cooked for other people. Toddy retired after having a double aneurism in 1991. She loved growing flowers, vegetables and especially raising raspberries. She loved NASCAR and stock car racing where she was a member of the 4-member, all women, pit crew for Jim. They raced in North Dakota, Minnesota and Winnipeg from 1975-1981. Toddy loved gambling and going to Laughlin. She was a member of the Fargo Chapter of the Harley Davidson Owner’s group and hosted 18 annual fish fry picnics at their home for the group.
She is survived by her husband, Jim; son, Dwayne (Kathy) Dreyer; special daughter, Kim (Marty) Priem; grandchildren, Jason, Arien, Desiree, Miriana Bastie and Benjamin Truman and great-granddaughter, Arianna.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Samuel; daughters Pamela and Janice; sisters, Mary Sweeney, Carolyn “Irene” Judd, Florence Swanberg, Lucille Roberts and Dorothy Nelson; brothers, Joseph Geror and Robert Geror and grandson, Christopher Dreyer.
