DEER RIVER, Minn. - Curtis “Curt” Joel Bellanger Sr., “Ozhaawashko giizhig” (Blue Sky), 41, Deer River, Minn., died Monday, June 8, in Essentia Hospital.

A wake will begin at 4 p.m. Friday, June 12, and will continue until the service at noon, Saturday, June 13, at Ball Club (Minn.) Community Center. Waa-maajaa’iwed is Steve Jackson. Interment will be in Townsite Cemetery in Ball Club.
