Caleb Allen Jacobson

Caleb Allen Jacobson (38) died Tuesday July 20, 2021 at Sanford Medical Hospital in Fargo, ND with the love of his life and family by his side.

Caleb was born on August 3, 1982 in Bemidji, MN. He graduated from Bemidji High School. He was active in Boy Scouts and nearly achieved the rank of Eagle Scout.

Caleb enjoyed hunting, fishing and loving every day. You could find any genre of music playing while around Caleb. He was often singing right along. He was a faithful Minnesota Vikings football fan.  Caleb worked at Walmart in management positions for several years in the Bemidji and Park Rapids locations.  He more recently worked at Southside Towing in Bemidji.

Caleb had a heart of gold. He would be willing to help out anyone who needed a hand. He was skilled in many ways whether it was building decks, home projects or tinkering and fixing vehicles.

Caleb’s biggest pride and joy were his two young sons Bryce (9) and Ryker (6). He had a deep love of family.

Caleb is survived by the love of his life,  Rachel Remitz; his sons Bryce and Ryker Jacobson, his sister Tracy (Scott) Williams; his brothers Cody (Jennifer) Jacobson, Chase Jacobson, Chance Jacobson; Rachel’s parents Skip and Colleen Remitz.

He is preceded in death by his father Gary, his mother Karen, his brother Cole.

The celebration of life will be outdoors held outdoors at the home of  Rachel on Saturday August 7th at 1:00 PM; 40108 US 71 Laporte, MN 56461.  Please wear purple and gold or your favorite Vikings gear.

The family requests donations be sent to Rachel at her home to help offset funeral costs and general cost of living with two young children.
