Benjamin “Ben” Carver

Ben Carver passed away on June 11, 2020 at Sanford Medical Center, in Bemidji, MN, after a seven month battle with Pancreatic Cancer.

He was born in Northhome August 30, 1942, and raised in Bemidji. He was from a family of thirteen children. He graduated from Bemidji High School in 1960, and later attended Bemidji State University, receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Technology Education in 1987. He loved spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, watching The Minnesota Twins and Vikings games. He spent many hours in his wood shop, working on various projects.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and three sisters. He is survived by 3 sisters and 4 brothers. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 55 years, Penny (Moody) Carver, his three children, Mike Carver of Puposky, Kim Carver Smith (Mike Smith) of Bemidji, Jen Carver of Bemidji, and two Grandsons William and Alex Carver.

The family will have a private funeral, with a Celebration of Life at a later date in the Fall.
