Audrey Elizabeth Jorstad

Audrey Elizabeth Jorstad, 91, of Bemidji, MN died Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at her home in Windsong Assisted Living.

According to her wishes, no services will be held. A Private Family Interment will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Bemidji at a later date. Arrangements are with the Cease Family Funeral Home in Bemidji.

She was born July 18, 1928 in Wadena, MN the daughter of Clarence and Magdelen (Wagner) O’Beirne. She attended school in Wadena, Shevlin, and Bagley. She married Richard “Dick” Jorstad on October 5, 1949. They moved into the home they were building on 24th Street NE, where they raised their four children. Audrey was a member of St. Philip’s Catholic Church where she was active in St. Anne’s Circle, the lunch program, and the funeral lunch committee. She was the bookkeeper for their business, Dick’s Northside. After 68 years they moved from their home. Dick to Gold Pine Nursing Home and Audrey to Windsong Assisted Living.

She is survived by her: Children, Dick Jorstad, Tim (Deb) Jorstad, Carol (Ross) Buxton, Dave (Joani) Jorstad, Grandchildren, Lange (Julie) Jorstad, Taylor Buxton, Karen (Mike) Driscoll, Kirsten (Sean) Feist, Drew (Kirsten) Jorstad, Nick Jorstad, and Cassie Jorstad, Great-Grandchildren, Lachlan, Avery, Hailey, Paige, Griffin, and Holland Sisters, Ceil Reis, and Luanne O’Beirne.

She was preceded in death by her husband, son Michael Jorstad, brothers Bud, Kenneth, Clarence, sisters Anola, Ione, Pat, Marcia, and her parents.
