Sue Ellen (Larsen) Segersten

Sue Ellen (Larsen) Segersten, 71, formerly of Blackduck, Minnesota passed away on March 28, 2019 at Haven Hospice in Lake City, Florida. Sue was born on June 9, 1947 to Roger and Edna (Pat) Larsen. She graduated from Blackduck High School in 1965. After high school she married Dennis Segersten and they had two daughters. She moved to Key West, Florida where she worked at Key West Hand Print Fabrics and Fashions, and Lilly Pulitzer. She married Lewis Randolf in 1992 and they eventually divorced. Around 2004 Sue moved to Lake City, Florida with her special friend Jim Edgely, where they took care of each other until she passed away. She enjoyed a good game of tennis; Football, her favorite teams being the Florida Gators and the Minnesota Vikings; hanging out with her yoga friends in Lake City; and a good book. She is survived by her daughters Toni (Gerit) Hanson and Crystal (Terry) Segersten-Hudson; her grandchildren, Jacob Hanson, Christa Hanson, and Justin Hudson; her great grandchildren, Jordan Hanson, Mason Hanson, Sadie Romine, and Kassie Thompson; her brothers and sisters, Randy (Deb) Larsen, Gary (Mary) Larsen, Nancy (Clayton) Finlayson, and Cindy (Doug) Ellingson; many cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Roger and Pat Larsen; her brother John Larsen; her sister Karolyn Larsen; her nephews, Gordon Hicks and Damon Larsen, and a great niece Dakota Larsen. A graveside service is scheduled for Friday, June 7, 2019 at 9:00 AM at Blackduck Cemetery with Pastor Anne Meredith officiating. A lunch will follow at the Whiskey Shack located 6 miles north of Blackduck on Hwy 71, across from Haley's RV Park. All are welcome to attend.
