Rose Marie (Robertson) Gallagher, 89, passed away on Friday, January 11, 2019 at her home in Bemidji, MN.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, February 18, 2019, at the St. Philip's Catholic Church in Bemidji, MN with Father Chuck Huck officiating. Visitation will be held one hour before the service at the church. Interment will be in the St. Edward's Catholic Cemetery in Drayton, ND. Arrangements are with the Cease Family Funeral Home of Bemidji.

Rose was born on July 2, 1929, in Drayton, ND, the daughter of Peter and Esther (Lindenburger) Robertson. She was raised and educated in Drayton, graduating from Drayton Public High School in 1947. She attended the St. Francis School of Nursing. She married Neil Gallagher on November 11, 1952 at St. Edwards Catholic Church in Drayton, ND. They first lived in Alexandria, Virginia for 18 months while Neil was enlisted in the Army Engineer Corp. They moved backed to Drayton, ND where they farmed up until their retirement. She worked at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Farmer's Union Oil, the Walsh County Redistricting Board, as well as raising the children and helping out on the farm. In 1999 she and her husband moved to Bemidji, MN. She enjoyed gardening, crafts, painting, drawing, ceramics, jewelry, and reading. She loved her family and friends and loved spending time with them and making special memories.

Rose is survived by her husband, Neil Gallagher of Bemidji, MN; daughters, Patricia (John) Van Camp of Bemidji, MN, Amy Quinn of Stillwater, Oklahoma, and Susan (Al) Gustafson of Ramsey, MN; sons, John (Jolene) Gallagher of Drayton, ND and Jeff Gallagher of Grand Forks, ND; 9 grandchildren, Heather (VanCamp) Bjerke (John), Megan VanCamp, Melinda DeBoer (Magnus), Billy DeBoer (Lori), Jodi (David) Campbell, Jennifer (Rick) Hutchinson, Taylor Bays (Greg), Tysan Swanson, and Stephen Gallagher; great grandchildren, Kristin, Madison, Claire, and Lorelai.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents, and one set of twins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the St. Philip's Catholic School. Condolences may be left at
