BEMIDJI -- The Veterans Home Task Force will be sponsoring a community celebration for the future Bemidji Veterans Home Project.

The event will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, at the Bemidji Eagles Club, 1270 Neilson Ave. SE in Bemidji.

State Reps. Matt Bliss, R-Pennington, and Matt Grossell, R-Clearbrook, along with state Sen. Paul Utke, R-Park Rapids will attend to meet with local elected officials, stakeholders and others to discuss the Bemidji Veterans Home project that was funded as part of the bonding bill passed and signed into law during the 2018 legislative session.

Food and refreshments will be provided by the Veterans Home Task Force, a release said.
