Vanessa Marie Weidenborner, 46, of Bemidji, died on Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2006, as a result of injuries suffered in an automobile accident near Wilton.
A funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Kelliher with Rev. Luis Buitron officiating. A visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. today at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Shooks, Minn. The Cease Family Funeral Home in Blackduck assisted the family with arrangements.
Honorary pallbearers will be her nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Keith Coburn, Justin Coburn, Austin Graser, Dominic Frenzel, Blaise Weidenborner and Brian Granger.
She was born on Jan. 12, 1960, to Paul Henry and Cecilia Annette (Granger) Weidenborner, in Chicago, Ill. She was raised in the Shooks area and attended school in Kelliher. She graduated from Kelliher High School in 1978. She lived in Grace Lake and for the last 20 years in Bemidji. She was a test driver for MDE of Bemidji for the last nine years. She worked with Special Olympics and elderly. She always made special personalized Christmas gifts and ornaments for her nieces and nephews.

She was a devoted Elvis fan, loved her dogs and loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed crafts, needlepoint, beading, candlemaking, taking pictures and was a collector of dolls and Beanie Babies.
She is survived by her parents of Northome; brothers, Andrew (LaVon) Weidenborner of Northome and Bruce (Stephanie) Weidenborner of Kelliher; sisters, Lenore (Bud) Carrigan of Northome and Myrna (Chuck) Roosdett of Blackduck; nine nephews and 14 nieces; grandmother, Veronica Weidenborner of Northome; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; and special friend, Jeremy Bertrum.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Cyril Weidenborner; and three grandparents.
