Valencia Kingbird, 29, of Red Lake, died Monday, March 17, 2008, at the Red Lake Hospital.
A traditional funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Red Lake Community Center in Red Lake. A wake began Wednesday at the Red Lake Center and will continue until the time of the service. Burial will be in the family burial grounds in Ponemah. The Cease Family Funeral Home of Bemidji assisted the family with arrangements.
Active pallbearers will be Don Kingbird, Jason Kingbird, Randy Kingbird, Chauncey Webster, Jordan Kingbird, Kendall Kingbird and Jon Prentice.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ronalda Smith, Laureen May, Alaina Prentice, Jocelyn Jones and Melinda Kingbird.
She was born Feb. 17, 1979, in Antigo, Wis. She was employed at the Seven Clans Casino, which she enjoyed. She loved being with her family and friends and taking the children riding.

She is survived by her husband, Jeremy Kingbird of Red Lake; children, Andrew Narcomey, Jeremy Jr., Emyleah, Jacob and Joseph Kingbird; step-daughter, Jaylyn Kingbird; parents, Bill Narcomey and Audrey Prentice of Red Lake and Bridget Bailey from Neopit, Wis.; brothers, Jon Prenctice, Michael Marrado and Russell Morgan; and sister, Marlene Morgan.
She was preceded in death by her brother, William Narcomey Jr.
