BEMIDJI -- The United Way of Bemidji Area’s Annual Wine and Beer Tasting Gala is from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Ruttger’s Birchmont Lodge.
A special selection of wines and beers have been chosen and will be available to sample courtesy of Beehive Liquors, Bemidji Brewing Co., Bernick’s, D-S Beverages, Forestedge Winery, Gallo Wines, Johnson Brothers Liquors, and Phillips Wine and Spirits, a release said.
Light food selections will be showcased by Lueken’s Village Foods. Tickets are $15 per person and available at the door. Must be 21 to attend. The Wine and Beer Tasting Gala is sponsored in part by United Way’s marketing sponsors First National Bank, Hill’s Plumbing & Heating, Paul Bunyan Communications and Sanford Health Bemidji. All proceeds from the Wine & Beer Tasting Gala support the 2015 United Way of Bemidji Area campaign for the community.
