HACKENSACK -- Faith in Action for Cass County invites the public to attend their 8th annual spring getaway, “An Evening in Tuscany,” spaghetti fundraiser from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23, at Union Church, 401 Lake Ave. E, Hackensack.
The evening will feature delizioso spaghetti with two choices of sauce, caesar salad, garlic rounds, a beverage, and specialty dessert. There will also be live music by Larry Kimball & Friends.
Faith in Action is a grassroots nonprofit program that coordinates community volunteers who provide neighborly assistance with transportation, caregiver respite, visiting, basic home repair, homemaking and chore services. Services are provided based on need, not income, and there are no fees for services. Those who wish can make a free-will donation at the door.
