Turnout for Turnouts golf tourney set

The eighth annual Blackduck Firemen's Relief Association Turnout for Turnouts golf tournament will be held Aug. 28 with an 11 a.m. shotgun start. This will be a four person scramble and is limited to the first 18 teams.

The eighth annual Blackduck Firemen's Relief Association Turnout for Turnouts golf tournament will be held Aug. 28 with an 11 a.m. shotgun start. This will be a four person scramble and is limited to the first 18 teams.

There will be prizes for first, second and third place as well as for a Hole In One on #7! There will also be a 2011 Chevy Equinox given away. The vehicle is being sponsored by Dondelinger Chevrolet. The traveling trophy will go to the winning fire department team which must consist of at least three current or retired firemen.

The cost is $200 per team and includes 18 holes of golf, the Hole In One contest and dinner at Hillcrest Supper Club. Limited carts are available but you must reserve these at the clubhouse.

There are also prizes for the closest to the pin, closet to the hose, longest putt and the longest drive. The steak dinner at Hillcrest is also available to non-golfers for $15. The winner of the chipping contest at Hillcrest will receive a shotgun.
