A head-on collision occurred at the intersection of Island View Drive Northeast and Bemidji Avenue North around 11 a.m. Wednesday. Randy Kieffer, 52, who has residencies in both Bemidji and Grand Forks, was driving a white Ford pick-up truck when it collided head-on with a red Chevrolet truck driven by Bryan Church, 51, of Grimes, Iowa. A head-on collision occurred at the intersection of Island View Drive Northeast and Bemidji Avenue North around 11 a.m. Wednesday. Randy Kieffer, 52, who has residencies in both Bemidji and Grand Forks, was driving a white Ford pick-up truck when it collided head-on with a red Chevrolet truck driven by Bryan Church, 51, of Grimes, Iowa. One of the men was transported to the emergency room at Sanford Bemidji Medical Center and was treated for a possible broken thumb.
