Tina Marie Romo, 40, of Crookston, Minn., formerly of Red Lake, died Tuesday, April 8, 2008, at her home in Crookston.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, Minn., with the Rev. Joseph Abrahamson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

She was born May 16, 1967, to Raymond Romo and Yvonne Good in Lavonia, Mich. She was baptized in the Catholic faith. She was adopted by Fred and Dixie Romo in 1969, and lived with them in St. Paul. She lived in Crookston the past few years. She shopped at many yard sales and played bingo. She enjoyed having breakfast with the breakfast club in Crookston once a week. She regularly babysat her friend's children. She often wrote poetry about her feelings and her life. Sewing, crocheting, and other crafts kept her busy in the quiet times.

She is survived by daughters, Richendra Day and Karina Day of Wahkon, Iowa; adoptive parents of St. Paul; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Shawn, and mother.
