Several local Thanksgiving meals will take place next week in Bemidji.
- The 36th annual Community Thanksgiving Meal will take place from noon to 1:30 p.m. Nov. 26 at St. Philip's Catholic Church, 702 Beltrami Ave. NW. A turkey dinner with all the trimmings will be served. The meal is free to all guests and everyone is welcome. No reservations required.
Southside Restaurant will serving a Thanksgiving meal from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 26 at the restaurant, 149 Convenience Lane SW. All are invited to the free dinner. Free-will donations will be accepted with 100 percent of the proceeds being split between St. Jude's Children's hospital and the Bemidji High School girls tennis team. Members of the tennis team and their parents will help with the meal.
