BELTRAMI COUNTY -- The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources will temporarily close the Tamarac River fishing boardwalk near Waskish in Beltrami County starting Monday through early October for improvements.
The project will improve shore fishing opportunities along the Tamarac River and includes replacing the existing boardwalk, adding a footbridge and improving facilities to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
The public water accesses on the Tamarac River will be open during the construction period.
