BEMIDJI-Take Back the Night, the annual march that raises awareness about domestic and sexual violence, will be held at 6 p.m., Thursday, April, 18 at the plaza in Paul Bunyan Park.
The march will travel through downtown before returning to Paul Bunyan Park.
The event will include a few, short speeches. There also will be an opportunity for people to write something down and then burn it in a fire. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own signs. Solidarity shawls that represent domestic, sexual and other forms of violence will be available for participants to wear. Beverages will be provided.
