BEMIDJI-The Bemidji Fire Department responded to the first wildfire of the season on Friday. A small grass fire was reported on Wild Rose Lane, west of the Bemidji Regional Airport.
In 2018, the Fire Department responded to 39 wildfires in the Bemidji area, according to a post on the department's Facebook page.
