Sharon Stenseng, 57, of Bemidji, died on Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2007, at her home.

A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday at the Cease Family Funeral Home of Bagley with Rev. Lyle Twite officiating. A visitation will be held from 3-7 p.m. today at the Cease Family Funeral Home of Bagley. Burial will be in Bagley City Cemetery in Bagley.

She was born on Aug. 29, 1949, to Roy and Nettie (Ranisate) Anderson, in Bagley. She was raised and attended school in Bagley graduating from Bagley High School in 1967. She married Rubin Stenseng on Oct. 4, 1969, in Bagley. She attended St. Cloud State College for one year. She worked for many years at the State Highway Patrol Headquarters in St. Cloud. She and her husband were later divorced. While in St. Cloud, she sang with the Sweet Adelines.

In 2000, she moved to Bagley and was employed by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension Laboratory in Bemidji, retiring in 2004. In 2003, she moved to Bemidji.

She is survived by her companion, Terry Hoie of Bemidji; daughters, Sara (Lloyd Orth) of Rice, Minn., and Jaclyn (Ryan) Schmitz of Holdingford, Minn.; brother, Donald Anderson of St. Paul, Minn.; and four grandchildren.
