MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - A funeral service has been set for the girl whose injury in an Edina pool helped lead to tougher pool safety legislation nationwide.
Six-year-old Abigail Taylor died last week at a Nebraska hospital. Abigail was injured last summer when she sat on a pool drain and part of her intestines were sucked out.
Visitation is Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Washburn-McReavy Chapel in Edina.
The funeral is Thursday at 11 a.m. at Church of St. Thomas the Apostle in Minneapolis.
