Sartell took control at the half and went on to hand the Bemidji Lumberjacks a 57-49 setback Saturday at the field house.
It lifted the Sabres to 6-11 and dropped Bemidji to 4-14.
The Jacks host Thief River and Moorhead Tuesday and Thursday night and end the week at Alexandria Saturday.
Bemidji led through much of the first half, taking its largest lead at 16-11 at the ten minute mark.
But the Sabres cut the gap and closed the half with a trey by Nick Steve to take a 22-20 lead.

They expanded it to 34-25 early in the second half only to see Bemidji come back with six to cut the margin to 34-31.
But a six point run from Sartell widened the gap and another five point run late in the game expanded the gap to 51-42 and put the game to bed.
Mike Carlson led three Sabres in double figures with 17. Nick Steve had 15 and Lucas Inverness 14.
Bemidji had 11 from Jeff Schaper and 10 from Drew Baker, the only players to reach double figures.
Bemidji held a 33-31 lead off the boards with Doug Bender and Baker claiming six. Carlson and Scott Dybsand had six for Sartell. The Jacks had 16 turnovers and Sartell 13.
Bemidji dropped the B Team game 59-25 outscored 32-6 after the half. Luke Sweeter led the winners with 10. Dan Sadek's seven topped Bemidji. The B Team fell to 3-15.
