BEMIDJI-Visitor restrictions have been lifted at Sanford Health facilities in Bemidji and Bagley.
According to a press release, the decision comes in response to the recent decline in the number of flu-like illnesses among area patients. Sanford started the visitor restrictions in January to protect patients, staff and visitors from possible exposure to influenza.
Restrictions were in place at the following locations:
• Sanford Bemidji Medical Center
• Sanford Bagley Medical Center

• Sanford Baker Park Senior Housing
While the restrictions are lifted, Sanford is still encouraging all visitors to use their best judgement in cases of illness. Visitors are still recommended to stay home and delay any visit to patients if they feel ill or exhibit signs of an upper respiratory condition.
