Roller derby skaters receive instructions at training session

Roller derby skaters from Bemidji, Duluth and Fargo-Moorhead leagues work on the whip, a derby move, while receiving training from the North Star Roller Girls of Minneapolis Saturday at Bemidji State University. The Roller Girls played in a Saturday evening bout at BSU, where a halftime scrimmage featured the Babe City Rollers of Bemidji, the Harbor City Roller Dames of Duluth-Superior and the Fargo-Moorhead Derby Girls.
