The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls:

Assault

12:35 a.m. Thursday, Bemidji State University's Cedar Apartments. A 22-year-old woman reported that she was assaulted. She was transported to North Country Regional Hospital where she was treated for a broken collarbone. A 23-year-old woman was arrested for third-degree assault. The incident remains under investigation.

Property damage

10:01 a.m. Saturday, 1600 Paul Bunyan Drive N.W.

3:29 a.m. Sunday, 900 Minnesota Ave. N.W.

12:50 p.m. Sunday, Summit Square Apartments.

Theft

10:11 a.m. Saturday, 200 block of 26th Street Northeast. A woman reported the theft of a $410 from her residence.

3:13 p.m. Sunday, 1200 block of Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest. A woman reported the theft of a helmet from her unlocked vehicle. It is described as a HJC brand helmet, black and gray in color, with Scott goggles attached. It is valued at approximately $250. While police were speaking with the woman, they learned that another vehicle in the same parking lot had been broken into. A man reported that a Buck folding knife was stolen out of his vehicle. It is valued at $50-$80.

Burglary

10:04 a.m. Sunday, 900 block of 26th Street Northwest. Two women reported that their apartment had been burglarized. They said they left their residence at 1 a.m. and when they returned at 9:30 a.m., they found the front door kicked in and their place ransacked. Missing from the apartment was $487 in cash.

11:20 a.m. Sunday, 1400 block of Calihan Avenue Northeast. A man reported that his home was burglarized between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. while he was asleep. Stolen items include a Kodak Easy-Share camera, a leather case containing a Dell PDA model X51, an Xbox and two cables, approximately 40 DVDs and 15 Xbox games.

Burglary

4:59 p.m. Sunday, 6400 block of Irvine Avenue Northwest. A woman reported that her front door had been forced open and her home burglarized. Missing items include a DVD player and 10 DVDs. The items are valued at approximately $250.

Hit-and-run

11:16 p.m. Sunday, Minnesota Highway 89 Northwest and Mayflower Road Northwest.

Fire report

The Bemidji Fire Department responded to the following calls:

3:36 p.m. Saturday, 13400 block of Birchview Drive. Firefighters responded to the report of a wood shed fire. At the scene, firefighters learned that the owner had extinguished the fire himself. The wood shed was totaled.

9:41 a.m. Sunday, U.S. Highway 2. Vehicle accident - call canceled en route.

7:55 a.m. Monday, U.S. Highway 71 near the Beltrami County Fairgrounds. One-vehicle rollover.
