Theft

12:59 p.m. Sunday, 200 block Spirit Avenue Northwest, Wilton. A woman reported her purse was stolen around 2 a.m. Sunday at the Git-R-Dun Saloon parking lot. She said she put her purse down on the hood of her car and was punched in the face by a male who was later arrested by Bemidji Police in an unrelated incident. She said she was certain the man who punched her was not the same man who stole her purse, which contained $40 cash, keys, checkbook, credit cards and other items. The officer warned her to cancel all monetary items.
