The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls:
Theft
7:42 a.m. Thursday, 2900 block of Pine Ridge Avenue Northwest. A man reported that someone stole a stereo, four speakers and an amplifier valued together at $1,100 from a car. Entry was gained by prying a window open.
10:55 p.m. Thursday, 2800 block of Pine Ridge Avenue Northwest. A man reported that someone smashed the driver's side window of his car and stole the stereo valued at $150.

3:38 p.m. Thursday, 500 block of Hidden Trail Court. A man reported that someone had stolen a Remington model 7400 30.06 semi-automatic rifle from his home.
