Sheriff's report
The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office responded to the following calls:
Theft
8:02 a.m. Monday, 200 block of Bemidji Avenue North in Turtle River Township. A woman reported that her purse containing identification and $30 to $40 in cash was stolen.
1:35 p.m. Monday, 4000 block of Supreme Court Northwest. A man reported the theft of a Marcum Lx3 depth finder from his apartment. The value of the depth finder is $400.

Fire report
The Bemidji Fire Department responded to the following calls:
11:32 p.m. Monday, 700 block of 19th Street Northwest. The department responded to a smoke alarm at an empty house. No signs of heat, smoke or flame were detected.
9:43 p.m. Monday, 100 block of Lincoln Avenue. Burnt food.
