Burglary

11:20 a.m. Wednesday, 1100 block of Park Avenue Northwest. A woman reported that someone broke into her home while she was sleeping.
12:15 p.m. Wednesday, 600 block of Eighth Street Northwest. A man reported that the door to his home was forced in. Thieves took a cordless drill, a tackle box valued at $500, a reciprocating saw, Vexilar Fl-8 sonar and $30 to $40 in change.
