Fire report
The Bemidji Fire Department responded to the following calls:
4:21 p.m. Wednesday, 200 block of Shevlin Avenue Southeast. Firefighters received report of smoke coming from a building. The smoke turned out to be from a burning brush pile and no action was needed.
9:32 p.m. Wednesday, Bemidji State University's Linden Hall. Smoke caused by cooking set off a fire alarm.
