Personal injury accident
10:25 a.m. Saturday, Bemidji Avenue and White Pines Street Northeast. Corey Northbird, 18, of Bemidji, was driving a 1997 Dodge Stratus at a high rate of speed when he ran off the road and hit a telephone pole. He was transported by ambulance to North Country Regional Hospital where he was treated and discharged to law enforcement.

Theft
3:58 p.m. Saturday, 2200 block of Centerline Drive. A man reported the theft of items from his property. Stolen items are a green 1991 or 1992 Yamaha Timberwolf four-wheeler, an older silver push lawnmower and three 4-feet-by-7-feet steel frames. He said the items were stolen sometime between April 2 and April 8.

Fire
4:30 p.m. Sunday, 4100 block of Sportsman Road. Individuals reported that two sheds were on fire at their neighbor's residence.

The Bemidji Fire Department responded to the following calls:
2:55 p.m. Saturday, Comfort Inn. Medical call.
4:07 p.m. Sunday, 4100 block of Sportsman Road. Twenty-eight firefighters spent three hours extinguishing two sheds that had caught on fire. One building was a total a loss and the other also had significant damage. The cause is still under investigation.
6:08 p.m. Sunday, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Firefighters responded to a report of water leaking from a building.
