Professional ice dancer Jamie Burns of St. Paul recently held a training session with the Bemidji Figure Skating Club. Burns, a senior level British Ice Dance bronze medalist, and local skater Darby Neis gave a demonstration at the PyeongChang Olympic Skate-a-thon, held Saturday, Dec. 16, at the Neilson Reise Arena. They danced the Paso Doble, the dance of the matador, which included fast footwork, and featured an exciting lift at the end, a press release said.
