The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls:
Thefts
11:09 a.m. Monday, Walmart. Prescription medication was stolen from a purse that was left in a restroom. The purse was still in the restroom when the woman returned for it about 15 minutes after leaving it, but the medication was missing.
12:59 p.m. Monday, 600 block of America Avenue Northwest. A wallet was stolen from a purse.

Theft from vehicle
11:20 a.m. Monday, 900 block of Washington Avenue South. Keys were stolen from an unlocked vehicle. The glove box also was open and a backpack had been rummaged through.
Hit-and-run accident
1:28 p.m. Monday, 10th Street Northwest and Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest.
Peace disturbance
8:59 p.m. Monday, 2600 block of Delton Avenue Northwest.

Sheriff's report
The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office responded to the following calls:
Motor vehicle theft
6:14 a.m. Monday, 4800 block of Birdsview Lane Northwest. A 1991 Chevrolet S10 pickup was stolen and then returned. The suspect called the vehicle's owner while it was missing and apologized for taking the vehicle. He said he would return it. When he arrived to return the vehicle, he was arrested.

Drugs
9:59 a.m. Monday, 4400 block of Washington Avenue South. A parent reported having found a baggie of suspected marijuana in a school parking lot.
10:50 a.m. Monday, Irvine Avenue Northwest. A woman was approached and asked if she would like to purchase Vicodin, a prescription medication.
Theft
10:15 a.m., 400 block of Algoma Street Northwest. A stereo was stolen from a pickup truck.
Gas drive-off theft
8:27 p.m. Monday, state Highway 72 and Main Street, Kelliher.
