Financial crime

11:16 Friday, Holiday South. Counterfeit $50 bills passed.

10:59 p.m. Friday, 900 block of 21st Street Northwest. Police investigated a report of a vulnerable adult who had written checks to a caregiver.

Assault

11:15 p.m. Friday, 300 block of Beltrami Avenue Northwest. Man arrested for violation of a no-contact order.

Disorderly conduct

11:05 p.m. Friday, Male subject causing disturbance in Corner Coin Laundry. Arrested for minor consumption of alcohol.

Disturbing the peace

10:49 p.m. Friday, 300 block of 26th Street Northwest. Officers heard no noise upon arrival and no party was located.

Theft

4:29 p.m. Friday, Walmart. Empty packaging found for an HP DVD/CD writer.

3:30 p.m. Friday, Pamida. Man reported the theft of a maroon 1989 Chevy Celebrity from the parking lot.

911 call

3:13 p.m. Friday, 600 block of America Avenue Northwest. Accidental hang-up call placed by child on old cell phone.

Vehicle complaint

2:31 p.m. Friday, 900 block of America Avenue Northwest. Civil matter; two people claimed they owned a vehicle and neither could produce a title.

Disturbing the peace

3:05 p.m. Friday, 200 block of Irvine Avenue Southwest. Noise complaint from open window. Renters asked to close window so noise of video games could not be heard outside.

Harassment

9:09 p.m. Friday, Solway. Complainant wanted incident of text messages sent to his girlfriend documented.

Burglary

12:50 p.m. Friday, 5000 block of Grant Valley Road Northwest. Resident returned home to find MP3 charger and some medical records missing.

Suspicious

10:13 a.m. Friday, 9600 block of Power Dam Road. Resident returned home to find door open and phone off the hook.

Property damage

8:37 a.m. Friday, White Oak Street, Northern Township. Graffiti painted on brick on front of residence.

911 call

2:40 a.m., Plantation Road Southeast, Cass Lake. Initially a party complaint that was unfounded. Then dispatched a suspicious person trying to enter a resident. Concluded as a 911 call and possible assault.

1:35 a.m. Friday, Thomas Road Southwest. Check welfare of intoxicated woman. Located and left in custody of another person.
